Our purpose at Cape May Whale Watch and Research Center is not to just take you out to sea where these beautiful creatures present themselves for you to marvel at in awe. We also want you to know as much about them as is possible through our research.

Help Save the Whales

A portion of the cost of your trip is used to support on-going research and education. The CMWW&RC maintains alliances with other organizations who do photo-identification of marine mammals. These include: College of the Atlantic - Allied Whale Project, Center for Coastal Studies, International Wildlife Coalition (Whale Adoption Project), Dolphin Watch, Virginia Marine Science Museum, N.J. Audubon Society, Cape May Bird Observatory, and The Atlantic Dolphin Research Cooperative (ADRC).

Your cruise will be highlighted by the fun and educational in-depth commentary delivered personally by our seasoned crew of naturalists. When you begin to interact with these amazing species you will want to know "What you can do to help". Information will be revealed concerning organizations to support, products to avoid and recycling tips. By working together, we can keep the oceans a beautiful place for you to visit - and for the marine life you encounter - a beautiful place to live!

Above, at the top, are a few links to our pages describing many of the species that are seen and/or researched by CMWW&RC

*Our guarantee applies if no Marine Mammals are sighted. In the event that no Marine Mammals are sighted, we offer another trip. Subject to space availability.
